Johnson Boadi Asamoah - Managing Director

Johnson Boadi Asamoah is currently the Managing Director of Golden Pride Savings and Loans. He has extensive experience in banking with speciality in financing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

He holds an BA in Economics and Law and a Masters Degree in Development Policy and Planning, both from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance and Diploma in Theology at the International School of Ministry (USA).

Boadi Asamoah has held various positions in his banking career. He worked with Ezi Savings and Loans Ltd. (currently First Trust Savings and Loans Ltd.), as an Executive Director in charge of Credit and also as Executive Director in charge of Operations and Administration.

He is also a member of a number of distinguished bodies, currently a fellow of the Institute of Directors.

Until his appointment, Johnson Boadi Asamoah was with HFC Bank Ltd., where he occupied various positions, such as, Head – Credit and Relationship Banking, Head – Business Development, Area Manager, etc.

Daniel Amponsah - Finance Manager

Daniel Amponsah is a very credible resource with reputable hybrid qualities in the finance arena.  He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Banker, and a Management Consultant with 16 years industry experience in banking Industry.

Prior to joining Golden Pride Savings and Loans Ltd as the Finance Manager, He was the Head of Finance of Utrak Savings and Loans Ltd. He has worked and served on a number of Rural Banks in Ghana as Accountant, Internal Auditor, Supervising Manager and Board Member.

He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana, a member Chartered Institute of Bankers (GH). He also holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA – Strategic Management and Consulting) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology – KNUST), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com – UCC) and HND (Accounting) Kumasi Polytechnic.

Peter Fraizer Owusu-Kusi - Head, Institutional Banking

Peter Fraizer is a Chartered Accountant with more than 12 years post-qualification experience. Currently, he is the Head, Institutional Banking.

He joined Golden Pride Savings and Loans Ltd from the National Investment Bank Ltd. His versatility in the banking industry is manifested in his varied area of specialization in banking operation.  He worked at the Risk Management Department as the Deputy Head of the department and a Budget Officer and Accountant at the Budget and Accounts Departments. He has been exposed to Assets and Liabilities Management, Credit Risk Management, Credit Appraisal, Operational Risk Management, Budget preparation and review, and Investment Appraisal.

He worked at Akuafuo Adamfo Marketing Company Limited as the Assistant Internal Auditor from September 2006 to April 2010. He was at Results Computers from March 2003 to March 2004 as the Accountant of the company.

He is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (UK) and Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana). He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (Finance). He is currently a student of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana) Part 3

Eugene Adusei - Head, Audit & Compliance

Eugene Adusei is an audit expert who has endeared his skill in the banking industry with remarkable finesse as a Chartered Accountant.

Courtesy his professional qualification and development, he has been delivering his expertise since 2008 in respective functional areas in audit, risk & compliance and finance & accounting, serving in various capacities as Audit Manager, Risk & Compliance Manager, Assistant Finance Manager,  and Senior Accountant.

As an astute entrepreneur, Eugene Adusei is following his quest to become a financial bigwig in the world, by pursuing his ambition to become a Charter-holder from the Chartered Finance Analyst (CFA) programme.

Adusei is an Affiliate with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA – UK) and a level II candidate of the Chartered Finance Analyst programme.

Ernest Bamfo Anson - Marketing & BD Manager

Ernest Bamfo Anson is a professional Marketing and Business Development resource who demonstrates his expertise with zeal, and traditionally thrives on commitment in delivering his acumen.

He has steadfastly worked in his professional field for over 16 years in various Management capacities in the Service, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, and Agro Commodity Markets.

His academic progression has earned him an MBA in Marketing obtained from the Central University College, in addition to a first Degree (Hons) in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana. Further to these laurels, he has completed several career enhancing short courses some of which are on Corporate Planning, New Product Development and Introduction and also completed the twelve months long Bullet Proof Management training series organized by CRESTCOM International of USA.

In the area of research, He has researched on Brand Loyalty Attitudes of Consumers and Gender Roles in Ghana’s Food Supply Chain.

Samuel Onesimus Blankson - Head, Banking Operations

Onesimus Blankson is an astute banker with over fifteen years of experience in the banking industry. He has a strong passion for quality customer service, problem solving and a commitment to a strong operations work flow process in banks. He started his banking career at GCB Bank Limited working at various branches across the country and in diverse positions as a teller, personal banker, credit officer, systems administrator, back office officer and deputy branch manager. He continued at HFC Bank Ghana Limited as the Operations manager at the Head office branch, Ebankese. He was appointed as the Business Manager at the Ridge branch driving both business and operations teams to achieve targets continuously for three years.

A product of the University of Cape Coast, Onesimus graduated with a degree in Economics and a Diploma in Education. He is a Certified Credit Administrator (MSME) and has completed the Intermediate level of the Chartered Institute of Bankers program. To his credit, he has been the recipient of outstanding customer service and business achievement awards.

He has also attended numerous courses and training programs on Operational Risk, Anti-Money Laundering, Customer Service, Advanced Leadership and Performance Management.

Akua Antwiwaa Kankam - HR Manager

Akua Antwiwaa Kankam is currently the Human Resource Manager of Golden Pride Savings and Loan Ltd and has over 10 years’ experience in Human Resource Management.  She has built a career in Human Resource by working in various roles. She has key competencies in Compensation Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Talent Management, Recruitment and Selection etc.

Prior to joining Golden Pride Savings and Loan, she was an HR Business Partner at Opportunity International Savings and Loans Ltd providing support for all Head Office Functions and the Northern Sector Branches of the Company supporting 301 staff  in 19 branches and 146 staff including 47 managers at the Head Office.

She is graduate of the University of Ghana with a Degree in Geography in 2005. She further pursued an MBA at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and graduated with the Finance Option. She is also a Certified Human Resource Manager and is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management(SHRM)
