Precious Kidz Account

An investment trust account for minors (i.e. below 18 years) with no account maintenance charges. The parent or guardian opens the account in trust for the minor. The account is to be surrendered to the minor once he or she attains the legal age of 18 years.  e-Banking services such as SMS and/or Email alerts are available on this account.Requirements include:

  • Two passport pictures of the parent or guardian
  • Two passport pictures of the child
  • A nationally accepted identification card (voters ID, drivers license or passport) of the parent or guardian
  • Weighing card or birth certificate of the child
  • Proof of residence in the form of a utility bill (less than 3 months old)

Features include:

  • Initial deposit of GH¢10.00
  • Ability to earn interest every month
  • Minimum account balance of GH¢50 to attract interest
  • Maximum of 3 withdrawals in a year
